Today the Croatian National Bank marked a year with the euro with an emphasis on the cooperation of institutions that played a significant role in the logistical preparations for the exchange and in the exchange of kuna cash.
Excellent cooperation between the Croatian National Bank, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Defence and FINA gotovinski servisi d.o.o. enabled the successful implementation of the euro adoption process and the exchange of kuna cash for euro cash.
Governor Boris Vujčić and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović addressed the gathering, pointing out that the withdrawal of the kuna, as well as the putting into circulation of euro banknotes and coins, was a key operation of the entire exchange process. With the successful cooperation of all those involved, cash was always available to citizens and businesses, and the exchange of the kuna for the euro was easy.
