The Croatian National Bank issues "Dražen Petrović" gold and silver numismatic coins with commemorative motifs featuring Croatian basketball player Dražen Petrović who, as one of the greatest Croatian, European and world basketball players, left a very significant mark in world basketball. The gold numismatic coins are issued in the 200 and 100 euro denominations and the silver coins in the 8, 6 and 4 euro denominations.
The gold and silver numismatic coins were minted in proof quality and released for sale on 5 September 2024.

The Decision on the issue of gold and silver numismatic coins "Dražen Petrović" was published in the Official Gazette No. 82/2024.
The gold coin and silver coin designs are by the sculptor Nikola Vudrag.
The numismatic coins were minted and are sold by the Croatian Mint.
