At its session today, the Council of the Croatian National Bank was informed about current economic, financial and monetary developments and forecasts for the euro area and Croatia and adopted several decisions within its competence.
The members of the Council adopted a decision on the issue of the "Neretva River Boat" gold and silver collector coin, as part of the "Old Croatian Ships" collector coin series, with commemorative motifs depicting the Neretva River boat, a traditional and indigenous vessel used for transporting cargo in the Neretva River Valley. Recently popularised by the "Boat Marathon", this boat reflects the recognisability of the Neretva region and is an important part of the cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The gold collector coins are issued in the denominations of EUR 100, 25 and 10 and the silver collector coins in the denominations of EUR 6 and 4.
