At its session today, the CNB Council was informed on current economic, monetary and financial developments in the euro area and Croatia and on macroeconomic developments and outlook. The members of the Council adopted several decisions within their competence.
The CNB Council granted approval to the Supervisory Board of Istarska kreditna banka Umag d.d. to appoint Klaudija Paljuh as a member of the Bank’s Management Board and to the Supervisory Board of KentBank d.d. to appoint Nikolina Cvitanović as a member of the Bank’s Management Board. The members of the Council granted approval to the Supervisory Board of Slatinska banka d.d. to appoint Andrej Kopilaš as the chairperson and Damir Kaluđer and Oliver Klesinger as members of the Bank’s Management Board.
The CNB Council also adopted a decision on the issuance of the commemorative 2-euro coin "Old Town of Varaždin" as part of the "Croatian Cities" series. The coin features the renowned fortress of Varaždin, a part of the cultural heritage with particular historical significance for both Varaždin and the Republic of Croatia. The depiction of the Old Town of Varaždin was one of the basic motifs on the reverse side of the 5-kuna banknote.
