Changes in other monetary financial institutions' statistics: disclosure of data on loans to non-financial corporations as broken down by size

Published: 31/5/2021

The Croatian National Bank's disclosure of other monetary financial institutions' (OMFIs) statistics for April 2021 includes a new table: D5e Distribution of other monetary financial institutions' loans to non-financial corporations by the size of the non-financial corporation, which will be published on a monthly basis within the group of tables of the Consolidated balance sheet of OMFIs.

Table D5e shows the breakdown of loans to micro, small, medium-sized and large non-financial corporations by purpose and by loan currency and maturity structures as of 31 December 2010. The classification of non-financial corporations by their size is based on Article 5 of the Accounting Act (Official Gazette 78/2015) and Directive 2013/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. The size of a non-financial corporation is calculated using the last available data from annual financial reports that non-financial corporations are required to submit regularly to the Financial Agency.

In addition, the existing table: D5d Distribution of other monetary financial institutions' loans to households by purpose and currency composition within the group of tables of the Consolidated balance sheet of OMFIs will be extended to include data on other loans to non-financial corporations.
