5 and 20 kuna banknotes, issue date 31 October 1993 and 10 kuna banknotes, issue date 15 January 1995, will start to be withdrawn from circulation by the Croatian National Bank on 1 March 2006. Withdrawn due to wear-out, these issues will no longer be legal tender as of 1 April 2007. These banknotes will be exchangeable at the CNB after that date as well.
5, 10 and 20 kuna banknotes, issue date 7 March 2001 and 10 kuna banknotes, issue date 30 May 2004, will remain in circulation.
