In cooperation with the Croatian Monetary Institute, the Croatian National Bank issued a commemorative 150 kuna silver coin, marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla, a visionary researcher and inventor.
Minted in proof quality, the coin was released for sale on 20 November 2006.

The Decision on the issue and sale of the commemorative silver coin "Nikola Tesla" was published in the Official Gazette No. 124/2006, 34/2010, 120/2010, 128/2012 and 109/2017.
The design of the silver coin is by the sculptor Stjepan Divković.
This issue was minted by the Croatian Mint.
The Croatian National Bank has contractually agreed to undertake the promotion and sale of this issue with the Croatian Mint.
