When it comes to money and finances, Croatian students mostly gather information from their parents. Danish students, on the other hand, are primarily provided with such information in the education system.
03:47
Croatian students’ financial literacy score is below the OECD average, but the score of older generations is not any better. All this suggests that we should take a different approach to spreading financial literacy.
06:27
Students really want to learn about finances through formal education and make it clear that they lack such content in schools and that the education system does not sufficiently provide them with real-life skills and knowledge.
08:07
Young people recognize climate change as an important civilisational problem, which is in line with global research. However, they are not fully prepared to adjust their behaviour and lifestyle habits to reduce their carbon footprint.

Socially responsible behaviour of adults is to give young people the opportunity to clearly state their views, which are very interesting and varied. Young people love it when they are given responsibility and rules along with room for freedom, and precisely such guidance by adults and institutions gives young people the necessary support.
