A delegation of the People's Bank of China, headed by Deputy Governor Ma Delun, today visited the Croatian National Bank and engaged in talks with CNB's Deputy Governor Boris Vujčić, Vicegovernor Relja Martić and associates.
Information was exchanged on the monetary and exchange rate policies of the two central banks against the background of the current global financial crisis and high foreign capital inflows, on the conditions and trends in the Croatian and Chinese banking systems, and on the possibilities for further cooperation between the two institutions in view of the possible and anticipated strengthening of the economic relations between Croatia and China.
Notwithstanding the differences in the economic characteristics and size between the two countries, the talks demonstrated a high degree of similarity in their experiences, views on major developments and issues and the ways to resolve them.
