About fifty representatives of central banks or other bank supervisory institutions from 16 countries will participate in the two-day meeting and the representatives of the Bank for International Settlement (BIS) from Basel will also present their international experience.

Special attention will be given in the work of this year's conference to achieving the optimal provisioning levels for potential losses in banking operations and to the role of the banking supervision in this respect, as well as to the organisational alignment of the banking and financial market supervision with the specific needs of an individual country. In addition, the exchange of views and experience concerning the application of the Basel II provisions in the banking supervision is expected to arouse great interest.
