The Croatian National Bank has launched a new communication format – the HNB Podcast. In conversations with Croatian National Bank experts, economists and experts in different areas, the podcast will provide its audience with a professional and clear insight into the topics of economic and general relevance.
Through the HNB Podcast, the Croatian National Bank realises one of its important objectives – providing education to the public and enhancing financial literacy in the society. A series of episodes will provide listeners with the opportunity to better understand the topics, such as inflation, monetary policy, financial stability and the role of money and central banks in the contemporary economy.
The podcast will be available for listening on the Croatian National Bank’s official YouTube channel and the CNB’s website, as we aim to enable easy access to all interested listeners.
The topic of the first HNB Podcast episode is the digital euro – the currency that is forthcoming, and the first guest is CNB Governor Boris Vujčić, who explains what the digital euro is, its purpose, how it is going to be used and why it is introduced in the first place.
