SRB Board Member Jesús Saurina Salas, and Daniel McCarthy, Head of Unit, ended today their two-day visit to the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian National Bank. The visit was hosted by Boris Vujčić, Governor of the Croatian National Bank, and Michael Faulend, Vice-governor responsible for resolution activities.
In addition to the meeting with Governor Boris Vujčić, SRB representatives held meetings with the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the presidents of management boards of part of the leading Croatian banks under the direct remit of the Single Resolution Board. The meetings focused on the situation and risks in the banking system, macroeconomic indicators and resolution issues, as well as the assessment of the potential impacts of geopolitical events on the Croatian banking system.
