A Mission of the International Monetary Fund, headed by Mr. Hans Flickenschield, is coming to Croatia on Thursday, July 20, 2000 to continue negotiations on a new stand-by arrangement to be concluded between Croatia and the Fund.
In the next ten days members of the Mission will meet with representatives of the Croatian central bank, Ministry of Finance and other government institutions to discuss recent economic and monetary indicators, estimates of future developments, as well as progress achieved recently in the areas related to key economic policies and structural reforms.
