The Croatian National Bank is issuing a silver collector coin “Black Lizard” in a 6 euro denomination, depicting a motif of an endemic subspecies of the Brusnik karst lizard (Podarcis melisellensis melisellensis), an important part of the natural heritage of the Republic of Croatia, living on a small island of Brusnik, which has been protected as a geological natural monument since 1951.
Minted in brilliant uncirculated condition and ultra high relief, the silver collector coin will be released for sale on 21 January 2025.
