A Mission of the International Monetary Fund, led by Nikolay Gueorguiev, arrived in Croatia for its usual semi-annual visit, with a view to gaining an updated insight into and estimating future developments in the economy, the financial system of the country, the financing of government needs and the structural reform implementation.
During its several-day stay, the Mission will hold meetings with the officials of the Croatian National Bank and the RC Government, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Regional Developments and EU Funds, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labour and Pension System, Ministry of Health, the World Bank's Representative Office in Zagreb and the Delegation of the EU to the Republic of Croatia, Institute of Economics, Institute of Public Finance and several banks, as well as the Croatian Employers Association and trade unions.
