With the opening of Moneterra, the CNB has joined a number of other central banks that, through money museums or visitor centers, bring topics related to money, economics and personal finances closer to the general public and thus encourage the spread of financial literacy.

In addition to numerous CNB experts, over 200 experts in the fields of architecture, design, audio-visual communications, economics and museology worked on the project.

Moneterra is an extremely interactive museum. Visitors can play games (specify, for example, bartering, hidden kuna, simulator) and quizzes and they can also spin the global money time machine to learn more about the history and future of money, as well as about banking and personal finances, in a simple and stimulating way.

One of the most interesting exhibits is an ATM that can print a personalized banknote with your own photo, which will remind you of your visit to Moneterra. In addition to the ATM, the museum hosts many other interesting and interactive exhibits.

In addition to offering expert guidance for groups, especially schools and colleges, Moneterra organises a series of activities to bring financial topics closer to citizens.

Moneterra will get an additional, new space for occasional exhibitions next year, which makes us very happy. Various interesting exhibitions from the money world will be prepared in this space.
