Lace-making in Croatia

In cooperation with the Croatian Mint, the Croatian National Bank issued, as part of a mini coin series, a commemorative gold coin "Lace-making in Croatia" with the motifs of Pag and Lepoglava lace, which are part of the Croatian cultural heritage under UNESCO protection.

Minted in proof quality, the coin was released for sale on 2 January 2012.

The gold coins are considered as investment gold and their delivery is VAT exempt.

The Decision on the issue and sale of the commemorative gold coin "Lace-making in Croatia" was published in the Official Gazette No. 133/2011, 121/2106. and 109/2017.

The design of the gold coin is by the sculptor Stjepan Divković.

This issue was minted by the Croatian Mint.

The Croatian National Bank has contractually agreed to undertake the promotion and sale of this issue with the Croatian Mint.
