CNB issues new numismatic sets to mark Independence Day

The Croatian National Bank has issued the numismatic sets of commemorative gold and silver coins in the denominations of 5, 2 and 1 kuna and 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 lipa with the motifs of the nine denominations of the circulation coins of the Republic of Croatia and mint year 2021, marking the Independence Day of the Republic of Croatia, 25 June 2021.

The coin design is by the sculptor Kuzma Kovačić. The commemorative coins placed in these sets were minted by the Croatian Monetary Institute. The total issued quantity of gold numismatic set is limited at 30 items, and the silver numismatic set is limited at 300 items.

The numismatic sets will be sold by the Croatian Monetary Institute. The initial selling price for the gold numismatic set is expected to range around HRK 80,000.00 (without VAT) and for the silver numismatic set around HRK 4,000.00 (without VAT). The final selling price will depend on the movement in the price of gold and silver in the open market.
