CNB Council adopts monetary policy projection for the last quarter of 2000

At the meeting held on Wednesday, October 11 2000, the Council of the Croatian National Bank, chaired by Governor dr. Zeljko Rohatinski, reviewed recent monetary and economic developments and adopted a monetary policy projection for the last quarter of the year. The CNB Council paid special attention to indicators of the September price increase and concluded that, should such developments continue, the central bank will take adequate monetary policy measures without hesitation.

In addition, the CNB Council decided on the issue of a new series of kuna and lipa coins dated 2000. The Croatian Mint was given approval for the mintage of gold medals "Hrvatski crveni kriz" and "Jastrebarsko".
