On Monday, December 18 2000, the Croatian National Bank will put for sale a new 200 kuna commemorative silver coin dedicated to the Croatian water-colorist Slava Raskaj. The commemorative silver coin "Slava Raskaj" has been issued as part of the series "Znamenite Hrvatice" ("Renowned Croatian Women"). This issue of commemorative silver coins, minted in high quality silver by using a special minting technique, comprises 2000 pieces.

On the obverse of the silver coin appears the portrait of Slava Raskaj, and on the reverse of the coin a fragment of the water-color painting "Ozaljski grad sa slapom Kupe", showing a panorama of the city of Ozalj and the Kupa river.

The designer of the new silver coin is Mr. Kuzma Kovacic, an academy trained sculptor.
