IMF Mission in Zagreb again

A Mission of the International Monetary Fund headed by Mr. Hans Flickenschild is coming to Zagreb tomorrow for the purpose of conducting regular annual Article IV consultations. Negotiations about a new arrangement between the Republic of Croatia and the IMF are also expected to start.

During the two week stay in Croatia, members of the IMF Mission, who will be joined by the World Bank FSAP Mission headed by Mr. Albert Martinez, will meet with officials of the Croatian Parliament, Croatian National Bank, Croatian Government, and officials of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of the Economy, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Health and Ministry for European Integrations. In addition, the Mission will visit a number of other public institutions important for economic development, financial stability and structural reforms in Croatia and have meetings with representatives of a number of large banks.
