Governor of the Croatian National Bank dr. Marko Škreb is travelling to Riga today to attend the Ninth Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to be held in the capital of Latvia.
This year, besides engaging in usual activities associated with such international financial gatherings, dr. Škreb is going to deliver the Jacques de Larosiere Lecture, a lecture given in honor of the former EBRD President. The title of dr. Škreb's lecture is "The Transition Process: It's All About People, Isn't It?". Dr. Škreb is the third governor to deliver such a lecture: last year the lecture was delivered by the Governor of the Bank of Israel Mr. Jacob Frenkel and in 1998 by Mrs. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, President of the National Bank of Poland.
